What is in Vasogen?
Vasogen is a water repellent barrier cream. It contains the following ingredients: Aqua (water) Aluminium Hydroxide, Dimethicone, Zinc Oxide, Lanolin, Calamine, Methylcellulose, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben.
Uses
Care and protection against the causes of nappy rash and bedsores. It may also be used for local protection of the skin around the stoma after ileostomy and colostomy
How to use Vasogen:
Rub gently on to the skin and leave to dry. Repeat if required. Use as often as necessary and especially after changing nappies.
Special warnings:
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice if:
- You are allergic to any of the ingredients
- The affected area is weeping
- You are unsure whether Vasogen is suitable for you
- The nappy rash hasn't responded to using Vasogen within a few days
- The rash is spreading outside of the nappy area
